Coronation Party for Snettisham
Pupils at our school enjoyed a street party as part of the school’s Coronation celebrations.
They also made crowns to wear, and were presented with commemorative Coronation mugs, which had been provided by the Friends of the school.
The festivities marking the ascension of King Charles III to the throne continued beyond the day, with a Coronation Banquet taking place the following week.
Other West Norfolk Academy Trust schools joined us in celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.
At St Clement’s High a time capsule was created which included recordings of students talking about their lives to add a personal touch to the historic event.
Smithdon students recreated the King’s official cypher on the school playing field using their uniform to provide the red, white and blue for an image captured by a drone.
Pupils at Clenchwarton chose a Commonwealth country to study as part of the celebration - which also included a picnic.
West Lynn children played croquet and staged a royal treasure hunt and street party and Walpole Cross Keys pupils got creative and designed collages and stamps with a royal theme.
